By booking a workshop or engaging our services you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy.

3. Our services

  • Bookings are confirmed only once full payment (or an agreed deposit) has been received.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where a workshop is unsuitable or fully booked.

5. Changes and cancellations by us

We may occasionally need to reschedule or cancel a workshop — for example due to illness, insufficient bookings or events outside our control. In that case we will contact you as soon as possible and offer an alternative date or a full refund of any amounts paid. Please also see our Refund Policy.

6. Your conduct at workshops

To keep our workshops welcoming and safe, we ask that all attendees behave respectfully towards Amy, other participants and any children present. We reserve the right to ask anyone who is disruptive, abusive or under the influence of alcohol or drugs to leave, without a refund. Parents and guardians remain fully responsible for the safety and supervision of their children at all times.

7. Photography and recording

Workshops may occasionally be photographed for promotional use. We will always seek your written consent (and the consent of a parent or guardian for any children) before capturing or publishing identifiable images. You may not record any workshop without our prior written permission.

8. Intellectual property

All workshop materials, booklets, slides and content on this website are the intellectual property of Amy Byrne / Roots of Wonder. They are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, share, resell or use them to deliver your own training without our prior written consent.

9. Child safeguarding

Amy Byrne holds Children First e-learning and Mandated Person Training in line with Ireland's Children First Act 2015. Any concerns about a child's welfare will be handled in accordance with those statutory obligations.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or in connection with a workshop is limited to the fees you paid for that workshop. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law are not affected.

11. Complaints

If something isn't right, please tell us at hello@rootsofwonder.ie and we will do our best to resolve it. As an EU consumer you also have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
